Trustees look to the future role of CVT in Society

A fact finding visit to the Solheimar Community in Iceland provided the backdrop to an inspiring series of meetings which considered how Camphill can remain fresh and relevant in the ever changing landscape of social care provision. To this end themes discussed included:

  • How to refresh and review CVT's structure
  • Planning a future role for CVT in society
  • An innovative and constructive approach to strategic changes that would help Camphill celebrate its uniqueness.

Paramount in the conversation wa the realisation that residents in the CVT communities must be be fully involved and engaged with future plans and activities

The theme of partnership permeated the discussions both in linking with other providers and and also with funding and regulatory bodies.

All in all it added up to a busy week for Trustees - just as well the midnight sun shone. But it wasn't all work and no play...
